    I personally think that new nano looks stupid. I bought a first gen nano because it was small, lightweight and stored enough songs for a plane trip or whatever. I see no point in adding the video component into it. I do like the new ipod classic though, I might buy my girlfriend one, she still has a first gen ipod mini.
